Welcome to Apollo Energy Research
Installing a Heat Reflecting Membrane or a Risk Management System to control internal environments will substantially reduce a building’s energy requirement in three ways:
Radiant heat passing through roof, ceiling, wall and floor structures will be blocked. Air leakage and infiltration through the building’s envelope is virtually eliminated. The building’s other insulation layers will remain dry as the system acts as an excellent vapour barrier. Apollo's heat reflecting technology includes:
Thermo-Foil®ES - Extra strong, puncture and tear resistant heat reflecting membrane for lining domestic, commercial and industrial buildings. Eco-Brite® - Heat reflecting membrane for prefabricated and commercial buildings, cabins, modular structures and under floor heating applications. AlvaFlash™ - Composite heat reflecting membrane for use as a substrate for bitumen backed roof flashings and roof components. EncaClad™ - Heavy duty heat reflecting membrane developed to clad external pipe work, ducting and oil and gas installations where UV attach can be a problem. Thermo-Foil®P -Heat reflecting membrane based on Thermo-Foil ES with micro perforations for breathability. EncaSeal™ - A high performance self adhesive heat reflecting membrane designed to encase and seal most types of insulation in the electro-mechanical and air conditioning sector. Mediwrap® - Heat reflecting high security medical single use blanket and ancillary wraps for accident and emergency applications, used by the NHS, ambulances and emergency services, British Army, most products have a NATO supply number. HRAgriliner™ - Risk management systems for controlled agricultural climate environments: Terrethene - Developed for sub-surface applications for use to stop the migration, of vapour, moisture, methane, radon, and various environmentally harmful gasses. Insuflect - A heat reflecting, puncture resistant membrane, totally waterproof, for bonding to polystyrene foam and insulation boards.
We have now created our literature as page turning e-brochures so you can read them on-line as if they were in your own hands.
You can now read the main Apollo brochure on-line in this format along with a combination of all our product literature and the BBA certificate. You can also read the Mediwrap brochures as a page turning publication too. Please click on the publications below.
